1 1/2" Piece Fresh Ginger
6 Large Anaheim Chili Pepper
6 Small Red Onions
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
1 Pinch Tumeric
3/4 Teaspoon Corriander -- Powdered
To Taste Salt
1/2 Cup Tomato Puree
1 Tablespoon Curry Powder
1 15 Oz Can Coconut Milk
4 4 Oz Salmon Fillets
2 1/2 Cups White Rice -- Cooked
1 Teaspoon Curry Powder
Mix the first 9 ingredients together in a food processor until it becomes a paste. Make slashes in the fish and marinate fish in the ground marsala overnight. Preheat oven to 350F. Cook the fish with the Masala in coconut milk. When cooked remove salmon from pan and add additional coconut milk and boil on full flame for 2-3 minutes reduced by 1/3. Slice small red onions and fry in a little oil. Take red masala and coconut reduction and divide evenly on 4 plates. Place 2/3 cup of white rice that has been cooked with curry powder in mound in middle of plate. Place salmon on top of rice. Place the fried onions on top of fish. Serve.

I wish I could understand how doing a search for artichokes got me to Salmon Curry In Red Masala shared by MrGourmet. Not that I mind, you understand Recipes shared Radio Paradise. It's just that I don't think it's exactly what I was looking for :0)
